WEATHERSTON being first duly sworn, depose and say, that I am the printer of THE STANDARD -JOURNAL, a semi- weekly newspaper printed and published semi-weekly at Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho; and I do solemnly swear that the NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING VARRIANCE R.EXBURG a copy of which notice appears attached hereto, was published in the regular and entire issue of said newspaper, and not in any supplement issue thereof for TWO consecutive issues, the first publication having been made on AUGUST 7, 1997 and the last publication having been made on AUGUST 21, 1997 Further, that said newspaper is one of general circulation in said county; that it is a legal newspaper, conforming to legal specifications under the Idaho Statutes; that it has at least two hundred bona fide subscribers living within the county of publication; and that it has been continuously and uninterruptedly published in said county during a period of seventy eight consecutive weeks prior to the first publication of the said notice. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that ■ public hearing will be held before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Wednesday, Aug. 27, 1997, at 8 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Building at 12 North Center, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding pro- posed issuance of a variance to provide as follows: That the owners of the fallowing described property be granted a variance allowing for the placement of a sign hav- ing approximately 90 square feet of copy which is an increase from what is provid. ed for in the zoning ordinance. The property is commonly known as the P.O.D.S., and is located at approximately 250 West Main, Rexburg, in Madison County, Idaho, and legally described as follows: Commencing at a point 150.0 feet East of the Southwest Corner of Lot 3, Block 30 of the Original Rexburg Townsite, Madison County, Idaho, as per the record- ed plat thereof, and running thence East 147.0 feet to the West line of the Oregon Shortline Railroad right-of-way; thence North 30029'00" East along said right-of- way 208.0 feet; thence at a right angle Northwesterly 8.0 feet; thence Northerly following a spur line of said railroad 190.0 feet; thence North 82.0 feet; thence West 113.08 feet to the West line of Lot 1 of Block 30; thence South 153.0 feet to the Center of Block 30; thence West 140.0 feet; thence South 79.0 feet; thence West 40.0 feet; thence South 251.0 feet to the point of beginning. ALSO: Commencing at a point 150.0 feet East of the Northeast Corner of Lot 3, Block 30 of the Original Rexburg Townsite, in the City of Rexburg, County of Madison, Idaho, as per the recorded plat thereof, and running thence East 40.0 feet; thence South 79.0 feet; thence West 40.0 feet; thence North 79.0 feet to the point of beginning. At such hearing the Planning and Zon- ing Commission will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to such proposed issuance of a variance.
