I, TERRY T. WEATHERSTON being first duly
sworn, depose and say, that I am the
printer of THE STANDARD -JOURNAL, a semi-
weekly newspaper printed and published
semi-weekly at Rexburg, Madison County,
Idaho; and I do solemnly swear that the
NOTICE OF RESOLUTION DIST. 30 HEARING
a copy of which notice appears attached
hereto, was published in the regular and
entire issue of said newspaper, and not in
any supplement issue thereof for TWO
consecutive issues, the first publication
having been made on JULY IST 1997
and the last publication having been made
on JULY 15, 1997
Further, that said newspaper is one
of general circulation in said county;
that it is a legal newspaper, conforming
to legal specifications under the Idaho
Statutes; that it has at least two hundred
bona fide subscribers living within the
county of publication; and that it has
been continuously and uninterruptedly
published in said county during a period
of seventy eight consecutive weeks prior
to the first publication of.the said
notice.

NOTICE OF RESOLUTION
OF INTENTION TO
ESTABLISH REXBURG
LOCALIMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 30, AND
HEARING PROTESTS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a
regular meeting of the City Council, held
on June 16, 1997, a Resolution was pass-
ed declaring the intention of the City
Council of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, to
create a Local Improvement District to be
known as Local Improvement District No.
30, to cause certain sidewalks, curbs, gut-
ters, streets, sanitary sewers and other
public utility works within the corporate
limits of said city to be removed, re-
graded, prepared, constructed and re.
constructed, and other work incidental to
all of the foregoing improvements in the
designated areas to be accomplished.
That a description of the boundaries of
the District to be created, the names of
the street or streets to be improved, or
along which said improvements are to be
'made, the points between which the im-
provements are to be made, and the kind
�nd character of the proposed im.
jrovements along and upon, said such
streets are as follows:
Harvard Avenue from 2nd South to 4th
'South, 3rd East from Main Street to 3rd
South, 5th South from 3rd West for ap-
proximately 300 feet in a westerly
direction.
The estimated total cost of said im-
provement is $640,000, of which sum
$245,000 is the total cost and expenses of
the improvements which will be assessed
against the abutting, adjoining, and adja.
cent lots and lands along or upon which
such improvements are to be made and
upon lots and lands benefitted by such im-
provements are to be made and upon lots
and lands benefitted by such im-
provements and included in the District to
be created, according to a front foot
method or in proportion to the benefits
derived to such property by said im-
provements, or a combination thereof,
subject to any variations therefrom to be
determined by the Council. The sum of
$395,000 is the total cost and expenses
which will be paid from general funds of
the City of Rexburg or from state or local
grants.
NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that writ-
ten protests against the creation of Local
Improvement District No. 30 or any other
objections in relation thereto, may be filed
in my office in the City Hall Building, at 12
North Center, in the City of Rexburg,
Idaho, on or before 4 p.m., on Wednes.
day, the 16th day of July, 1997, and such
protests will be heard and considered by
the Mayor and Council at a special, open
and public meeting of the City Council to
be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesay, the 16th
day of July, 1997.
Reference is hereby made to said
Resolution 97-6 of the City Council now
on file in my office, available for public
review for further information in regard
thereto.
