Height and Area Review Miscellaneous Waste Water Grease Trap Form Waste Water Application Energy Conservation Compliance Review Building Code Fire Compliance Review Mechanical Review Structural Review Section 508.3.2.2 Of the 2006 IBC states the following: "The allowable area and height of the building or portion thereof shall be based on the most restrictive allowances for the occupancy groups under construction for the type of construction of the building..." The most resctrictive height requirements for this building is three stories. This requirement is found in Table 503 under A-2 and A-3 as a two story allowable height. With sprinklers the allowable height is raised to three stories. Nonseperated mixed use is not allowed under these conditions. Seperate the occupancies as per Table 508.3.3. Provide details. Glazing in the pool area must be safety type. Provide energy review.. Provide details that identify how steel beams and columns are being fire rated as per Table 601. Fire barriers are required between different occupancies as per Table 508.3.3. Provide details and rated doors. Rated doors must be self closing. Meets code requirements. Special inspections are required for concrete foundation, high strength bolting, sprayed on fire proofing, and any structural fill. Please provide letter from the firm that will be providing these services. All extinguisher are required to be installed before final fire inspection. Automatic Fire Extinguishing Systems Submit automatic fire sprinkler to the State Fire 08/21/2008 Marshall for plan review. Plans are required to be approved before installing any part of the sprinkler system. Submit letter of intent from a certified fire sprinkler contractor. Commercial Cooking All commercial cooking is required to meet the 08/21/2008 standards of the International Fire Code 2006 edition and the International Mechanical Code 2006 edition. All cooking appliances and kitchen Alarm Systems equipment must have approval before installing. Submit fire alarm plans to the City of Rexburg 08/21/2008 for review and approval before installing any part of the fire alarm system. Letter of intent is Other Comments require from a certified fire alarm contractor. A lock box is required for this occupancy. 08/21/2008 Forms are available at the Rexburg Fire Department. Make sure that this is wired to the 2008 NEC. The pool equipotential bonding is required to meet the 2002 NEC section 680.26 requirements.
