Rezone Certain Parcels within City of Rexburg Impact Area Boundaries Zoned
Transitional Agriculture 1(TAGl) and Transitional Agriculture 2 (TAG2) to Transitional
Agriculture (TAG)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF REXBURG IMPACT AREA REXBURG, IDAHO, AND PROVIDING THAT THE
ZONED DESIGNATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED, SITUATED IN REXBURG, MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO, BE CHANGED
AS HEREINAFTER DESIGNATED; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the City of Rexburg Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on
January 7, 2021 and recommended to the Rexburg City Council to approve the zone change of this
below described properties.
WHEREAS, the City of Rexburg City Council accepted and adopted the City of Rexburg's
Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendations for the Rexburg City Zoning Map on
January 20, 2021, February 3, 2021, and February 17, 2021, signing Rexburg City Ordinance 1252
thereon.
WHEREAS, the Madison County Board of County Commissioners now desires to adopt this
ordinance to reflect these changes.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MADISON
COUNTY, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS:
1. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, that the zoning map of the City of Rexburg,
Idaho, which is filed with the city clerk thereof, be, and the same is hereby amended and
changed to provide that the hereinafter described property situated in Madison County
Idaho and situated in the City of Rexburg's Impact area to rezone certain parcels within
the City of Rexburg's Impact Area zoned Transitional Agriculture 1 (TAG1) and
Transitional Agriculture 2 (TAG2) to Transitional Agriculture (TAG) zone in the City of
Rexburg's Impact Area, Madison County Idaho.
2. The said properties are located throughout the County of Madison Idaho, and located
within the City of Rexburg's Impact area and are more particularly listed as follows:

3. BE IT FURTER ORDAINED, that all previous ordinances and/or
resolutions relating to the matters described herein that are in conflict
herewith, are hereby revoked and repealed and replaced by this current
ordinance.
4. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
