McFarland RE: Zoning Change Request DT: 14 February 2006 Dear City of Rexburg Personnel: We the owners of the respective properties hereby formally request a zoning change in the three contiguous properties located currently in Madison County on the West Side of 12th West and North of Highway 33 (See attachments). We are requesting that the combined properties be zoned GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT (GBD) 3.14 page 57-61 of the City of Rexburg Development Code. We are NOT applying for annexation at this time. Further, it should be understood that the owner of record --- referenced "Parcel A" (James D. McFarland) wants to insure that any zoning or future annexation, will not affect his license/permit to sell beer on Sundays (a practice the business has been permitted to do for many years. The owner of parcel "A" respectfully requests your consideration in this matter in the present zoning application and future annexation developments. Each applicant is interested in receiving city services (Sewer and Water). We jointly desire that this property be re -zoned to it's `highest and best use' --- Commercial. Further it is our desire that the current business being conducted on the properties become `conforming' and that future development will be an asset to the community. Sincerely, c.� David A.
