Garth Gundersen, with the assistance of campus security personnel, inventoried the number of bicycles
which were located at a number of the off campus housing units and compared the number with the
number of beds in the apartment complex to arrive at an estimated percentage of students who currently
have bicycles in the apartment parking lot or sidewalk area. He found the following:
As for bike counts (after midnight so everyone was home) in off campus housing I found the
following:

It should be noted that a number of bikes may be in storage or in student apartments. Garth felt the
number would increase within the next few weeks as spring arrives. As we get better information, I will
forward it on to you. Thanks.
