Findings of Fact
Titan Development/ Mark Liebel — 1139 East 9`h North
Rezone
1. On January 6, 2006, Titan Development presented to the Rexburg Planning & Zoning
Permit Coordinator a Request and Application for a Rezone located at 1139 East 9`h North
from Rural Residential to Low Density Residential 2.
2. The project was then sold to Mark Liebel.
3. On January 13, 2006, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in the
local newspaper for January 17, 2006 and January 28, 2006. A notice was posted on the
property and sent to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property.
4. On February 2, 2006, the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Rexburg tabled
the rezone request. Commissioner David Stein moved to table the zoning request until
they are able to gather more information on the city services agreement and a better
understanding of the nature of the development. Commissioner Thaine Robinson
seconded the motion.
None opposed. Motion carried.
Chairman Dyer encouraged the developers to work on gathering this information so the
commission can meet again and take the matter further.
