Facts of Finding
Parkside Plat "D" — Final Plat
1. On March 15, 2006, Schiess & Associates presented to the Rexburg Planning & Zoning Coordinator a
Request and Application for a Final Plat for Parkside Plat "D."
2. On March 31, 2006, Schiess & Associates presented a revised Final Plat for Parkside Plat "D" to the
Rexburg Planning & Zoning Coordinator at the request of the Rexburg Planning & Zoning staff.
On April 6, 2006, John Dester presented to the Rexburg Planning & Zoning Commission the Request for
approval of the Final Plat for Parkside Plat "D." Mary Haley motioned to approve the Final Plat for
Parkside Plat "D," with the stipulation that the developers meet the requirements designated on the staff
review presented to the Commission. Ted Hill seconded the motion. Randall Porter clarified it is the
April 6, 2006 staff review referred to in the motion. Mary Haley clarified her motion that the stipulations
refer to the April 6, 2006 staff review presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Ted Hill
seconded. None opposed. Motion carried. Chairman Dyer encouraged the developer to see that all the
issues on the April 6, 2006 staff review were addressed before the plat was presented for signatures.
4. On April 19, 2006, John Dester presented to the Rexburg City Council the request for approval of the
Final Plat for Parkside Plat "D." Council Member Benfield moved to approve the Final Plat for
Parkside Plat "D"; Council Member Stevens seconded the motion; Discussion: The City Council
discussed the pocket park on the south west corner of the project. It is used as Pocket Park and a waste
water collection site. There is a Homeowners Association in the development. All voted aye, none
opposed. The motion carried.
