HomeMy WebLinkAboutNOTICE - 08-00117 - - 08-00117 - Hemming-PRO ZoneNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held before the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Thursday, April 03rd, 2008 at 7:05 p.m., in the City Council Chambers of the City Building at 12 North Center, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding a zone change from Community Business Center (CBC), High Density Residential One (HDR1), and Medium Density Residential One (MDR1) to "Project Redevelopment Option (PRO -Zone). The city code governing this request is ORDINANCE No. 926 "DEVELOPMENT CODE OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO" (ADOPTED FEBRUARY 16th, 2005) and Amended 7/06/2005; 5/07/2007; 7/03/2007 The said parcels are located on City Block 47 which is located between 1st South and 2nd South directly east of Porter Park. Parcels on Blocks 40 and 54 are located on both sides of 13t South and 2n1 South between Ise West and 2nd West. Blocks 47, 40 and 54 are part of the Original Townsite in Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows: Hemming Properties-BoundM Description --March 13. 2008 Parcel 1: Commencing 165 feet west of the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 54 of the Original Rexburg Townsite, City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, as per the recorded plat thereof, said point being the Point of Beginning; and running thence South 156.75 feet; thence West 165.00 feet; thence South 8.25'; thence West 82.50 feet; thence North 66.00 feet; thence West 148.50 feet, thence South 66.00 feet; thence West 99.00 feet; thence North 165.00 feet, said point being also the Northwest corner of lot 1, Block 8 of the South End Addition to the City of Rexburg, as per the recorded plat thereof, and running thence East 495.00 feet to the Point of Beginning. Parcel 3: Commencing 57.75 feet West of the Southeast corner of Lot 3, Block 40 of the Original Rexburg Townsite, City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, as per the recorded plat thereof, said point being the Point of Beginning; and running thence North 165.00 feet; thence East 114.75 feet,- thence eet;thence South 165 feet; thence West 114.75 feet to the Point of Beginning. Parcel 4: Commencing 87.5 feet West of the Southeast Corner of Lot 4, Block 40 of the Original Rexburg Townsite, City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, as per the recorded plat thereof, said point being the Point of Beginning; and running thence West 77.50 feet; thence North 82.50 feet; thence East 77.50 feet thence South 82.50 feet to the Point of Beginning. At such hearing the Planning & Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to such proposed zone change. The City Clerk will also accept written comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on April 02nd 2008. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof.
