My family and I moved to Rexburg from the District of Columbia last fall. My husband recently retired from 20 years of active duty service and is now engaged full-time at INL. As a mother, former military spouse and citizen I am truly shocked at what is happening in our city, region, state, country around the world with the SARS-COV-2. I am vaccine-injured, live with an irrevocable neurological disease and I have four children: two who were born with terminal diagnoses. One child lives with complications that are recognized unique to her by the medical journals and her team at Boston Children’s Hospital. And another who died in my arms full-term and beautiful from a rare birth defect. Because of my experiences, I am acutely aware of my rights to informed consent, bodily sovereignty, and medical freedom. Dr. Andrew Wakefield said that the greatest gift that God has given to the human race is a mother's instinct. The undeniable deep insistence that something is wrong with my child is tangible, hard to ignore and always right. My own mother's instinct has recoiled since the beginning of the "pandemic" with the social pressures and now illegal and unethical mandates to cover faces and noses. I have felt that something has not been right from the start. And so I started to do my own research. I found outspoken advocates for informed consent, bodily sovereignty and medical freedom who were sharing the truth. People like Dr. Ben Tapper, Dr. Simone Gold, Peggy Hall and Del Bigtree among others. We are created with his breath and our spirit is inextricably connected to our breath. To mask our faces and noses is to negatively affect our oxygen levels, stifle our brain and organs in their proper function, to conceal our divine identities and muzzle our freedom to express ourselves is nothing less than spiritual warfare. Dark and deceitful. "We fight not against flesh and blood but against the powers of darkness." The greatest inhumanity is the masking of children and the masking of mothers. This is effectively erasing the genuine building blocks of human bonds, the first beautiful moments of communication between a baby and his or her mother. And forcing mothers to cover their face which is a child's first source of consolation, understanding, and interpreting the world. Tracking a mother's face and her expressions is an innate skill programmed in every newborn and which builds into a bond that grows with the child as they learn to express and explore. We are actually changing humanity down to its very essence of loving communication by covering a mother's face. This is then fed into our addiction for screens and constant entertainment. We are creating disconnected, hypnotized individuals who are puppets of a state instead of connected and bonded members of families and who can think for themselves. I admonish the members of the City Council to take our future into account now. Rexburg's citizens are free to choose for themselves. Please keep it that way. Vote No on Ordinance No 1243.
