Application for Zone Change—Addendum
In an effort to preserve the current quality of our neighborhood, we, the undersigned
homeowners, do request and petition the Rexburg Planning and Zoning Commission
and the Rexburg City Council to change the current zoning classification for each of
our properties and the other properties included in the proposed boundary (see
attached map) from LDR1 (Low Density Residential 1) to the more restrictive
classification of LDR (Low Density Residential). We recognize that current
conditional uses (basement apartments, pre-schools, etc.) with proper permits will be
grandfathered under this change, but that if these practices are discontinued for more
than a year, such grandfathering would be forfeit.
