Reasons to Update Software

Currently using a SQL based on premise system that was
implemented 15 years ago and is considered a legacy
system by the Provider
Legacy System means they will no longer continue to
enhance and develop software
Many of our support technicians and programmers we
have used in the past have began to retire
Changes to software has become very expensive where
we cover 100% of those associated costs
Reasons to Update Software

Allows for broader access by users
Connect through web/No need to connect
remotely
A new system allows us to better integrate with
other core systems, such as City Works and
Laserfiche
We have enough knowledge/expertise to rollout
with current staff levels over next few years
Going to a SaaS (Software as a Service) Model will
help reduce hardware and IT Staff Costs
