NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held before the Planning &
Zoning Commission of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Thursday June 19, at 7:05 p.m., in the City
Council Chambers of the City Building at 12 North Center, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding a zone
change from AG -2 (Agricultural 2) to RR (Rural Residential 1).
The said property described as Parcel 1 and Parcel 3 is located at 1139 East 9th North in the
Impact Area of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows:
Parcel 1
The East 70 rods of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 16, Township 6
North, Range 40 East, Boise Meridian, in Madison County, Idaho.
Parcel 3
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 16, Township 6 North, Range 40 East, Boise Meridian, Madison County, Idaho, and
running thence South 80 Rods; thence East 90 Rods; thence North 80 Rods; thence West 90
Rods to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of
the Southwest Quarter of Section 16, Township 6 North, Range 40 East, Boise Meridian,
Madison County, Idaho, and running thence East 810 feet; thence South 270 feet; thence West
810 feet; thence North 270 feet to the point of beginning.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM: Commencing at a point that is 270.00 feet South
00°00'00" West of the Northwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 16, Township 6 North, Range 40 East, Boise Meridian, Madison County, Idaho, and
running thence South 89°20'40" East 810 feet to an existing ditch; thence South 00°45'55" East
1047.80 feet along said ditch to the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest

At such hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections
and recommendations relative to such proposed approval. The City Clerk will also accept
written comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on June 18, 2003.

all amendments thereof.
