1 have reviewed the plans for the Level 2, 3 and 4 Apartments and have identified
the following discrepancies or questions:
1. Five parking spaces needed for ordinance compliance are missing from Level
4 plan. Please make the necessary changes.
2. Level 4 and Level 2 have dead end parking spaces. These spaces are not
equipped a backing area adjacent to them The vehicles that park in these
spaces will have to back completely out the way they came in. Please make
the necessary changes to the parking plan.
3. The ADA requires that one of your handicapped parking spaces in each
complex be a van accessible space. The aisle adjacent to a van accessible
space is required to be 96" wide. Please identify compact spaces and signage
on plans.
4. Our trash truck is a side loading variety. The trash dumpster for Level 3 may
not be located where it can feasibly be accessed. Please contact John Millar
the City Engineer concerning this issue. His telephone extension is 329.
5. Please identify privacy fencing where parking lots border other properties.
6. All units on the lower floor must be type "A" or type `B" handicapped units.
At least one type "A" unit must be provided in each complex. Please identify
the location of the type "A!' units on the site plan.
7. Please provide literature on stucco for 1 -hr rating.
8. Provide a copy of the structural calculations.
9. Anchor bolts are required at all bearing walls, please identify.
10. The walk in storage space of the type "A" units does not meet ANSI Al17.1,
section 1002.3.2.
11. Under stair guard rails are required as per ANSI Al 17.1 section 307.4. See
figure 307.4.
12. Please provide truss details prior to framing inspection.
