1. On May 16, 2017, Greg Nelson presented to the Rexburg Planning & Zoning Coordinator a Request and
Application for the Rocky Ridge PUD (Planned Unit Development) Preliminary Master Plan/Preliminary
Plat at 398 Pioneer Rd.
2. On May 17, 2017, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in the local newspaper
for May 30 and June 9, 2017. A notice was posted on the property and sent to all property owners within
300 feet of the above mentioned property.
3. On June 15, 2017 Chad Richards presented to the Rexburg Planning & Zoning Commission the Request for
approval of the PUD Preliminary Master Plan /Preliminary Plat for Rocky Ridge. The Comtnission
motioned to accept the Plan with staff review of Density Bonus Points.
Kristi Anderson, Melanie Davenport, John Bowen, and Darrik Farmer were opposed. Motion carried.
4. On July 05, 2017 City Council reviewed the proposal for the Rocky Ridge PUD,
Chad Richards presented the Preliminary Master Plan/ Preliminary Plat for the Planned Unit
Development at 398 Pioneer Road. They would like to increase the density from 13 to 17 four-plexes. In
order to increase the density the units will be placed closer together and they added additional amenities.
Mr. Richards reviewed the density points, the look of structures and the landscaping of the development
The 87 point they earned allowed them to go from 13 to 17 four-plexes.
