HomeMy WebLinkAboutFOF - Eaglewood - RezoneFINDINGS OF FACT FOR ZONE CHANGE On May 5, 2003, Ted Whyte representing Eaglewood Enterprises presented to the Rexburg City Clerk a Request and Application for a zone change on property located on the Eaglewood plat at 4`h East and 7`h South in the City of Rexburg, said property to be changed from LDRI to LDR for 16 lots; LDR to LDR 1 for 2 lots; LDR1/LDR to LDR for 5 double zoned lots. 2. On May 15, 2003, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in the local newspaper on May 16, 2003, and June 2, 2003. A notice was posted on the property and sent to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property. On June 5, 2003, Ted Whyte representing Eaglewood Enterprises appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Rexburg requesting a zone change from LDR1 to LDR for 16 lots; LDR to LDR 1 for 2 lots; LDR1/LDR to LDR for 5 double zoned lots on property located at 4th East and 7th South. There was some input from some of the neighbors who strongly support this proposal. There was no opposition expressed concerning this zone change. It was recommend by Planning & Zoning that this request be approved for public hearing before the City Council. 4. On June 12, 2003, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in the local newspaper on June 16, 2003, and June 25, 2003. A notice was posted on the property and sent to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property. On July 2, 2003, a request for a zone change was presented to the City Council of the City of Rexburg on property located at 4' East and 7" South from LDRI to LDR for 16 lots; LDR to LDR 1 for 2 lots; LDRI/LDR to LDR for 5 double zoned lots. There were no public comments expressed. It was moved and unanimously approved that the Council take the recommendation of Planning & Zoning and approve the requested zone change.
