Approved Site Plan Please discuss the idea of using the platted
alley to the west for manuevering area for the
parking lot. Currently vehicles finding a parking
space must use 1st East street to go from one
area of the parking lot to another. Adding
additional parking options will further aggravate
this issue and increase potential vehicle/vehicle
conflicts and vehicle/pedestrian conflicts. New
parking lots are not allowed to use the street to
access one part of the parking lot to another,
but yours may have some "grandfathered"
status so we look forward to working with you
on this to see what you may or may not be able
to do.
Approved Site Plan Proposed reconstruction of sidewalk to the
south needs to be moved back towards the
property line to allow for a minimum 7 -foot
landscape strip along the street. This will bring
the sidewalk in to conformance with City
standards and allow for additional snow storage
from the street. Please revise.
Approved Site Plan Lighting plan needs to be submitted. This
includes details of the lights to be used as well
as a photometric layout showing that proposal
satisfies the City's lighting ordinance found in
Ordinance 926. Light must be nightsky comliant
with full cut-off fixtures. Lighting must not
tresspass on to adjacent property and not in to
public right-of-way. Please submit this
information. Please include light pole heights.

Response to Review Comments
Dear Gary:
s 09

P
We received the review comments for the above referenced project on 3/5/08. The last couple of weeks have been
spent gathering information and making sure that our revisions will yield the desired outcome for the City of Rexburg.
Each of the three review comments have been discussed with the appropriate city official.
The responses to the review comments.are as follows:
1. Using the platted alley as maneuvering area.
The Owner has discussed this possibility. It is the desire of the Owner to proceed as planned with this particular
project and then revisit that issue when additional property is purchased at a future date.
2. Move sidewalk along 2'" South back to allow for snow removal.
We have revised the site plan to indicate moving the sidewalk back approximately 71/2 feet to align with the
existing sidewalk to the west.
3. Revise parking lot light to full cut-off.
The light fixture will be revised to a Lithonia #KAD 100S R3 BZ as discussed with Gary Leikness on 3/17/08.
The fixture will have a 100 Watt high pressure sodium lamp and be full cut-off.
Thank you for your help and cooperation.
Sincer ,
