HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1236 Rezone 220, 224, & 228 N 3rd W to MDR2/ ORDINANCE NO 1236 Rezone Approximately 220, 224, and 228 North 3rd West, Rexburg, Idaho to Medium Density Residential 2 (MDR2) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO, AND PROVIDING THAT THE ZONED DESIGNATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, SITUATED IN REXBURG, MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO, BE CHANGED AS HEREINAFTER DESIGNATED; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY the City of Rexburg, Idaho: SECTION I: That the zoning map of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, which is filed with the city clerk thereof, be, and the same is hereby amended and changed to provide that the hereinafter described property situated in the City of Rexburg, Madison County, State of Idaho, regarding (#20 00505) to rezone the property at approximately 220, 224, and 228 North 3rd West from Low Density Residential 2 (LDR2) to Medium Density Residential 2 (MDR2) zone in the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho. The said property is located at approximately 220, 224, and 228 North 3rd West in Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows: Legal Description: Situated in the state of Idaho, county of Madison, city of Rexburg, Being part of lots 3&4, Block 12 Rexburg Townsite, Part of section 19, TWP. 6N, Range 40 E, of B.M., being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the rebar with a plastic cap found marking the Northwest corner of said lot 3, block 12; Thence North 89°44’10” East, a distance of 430.00 feet to a rebar with a plastic cap set stamped, “PLS 13856”; Thence South 00°15’33” East, a distance of 165.03 feet to a rebar with a plastic cap set stamped, “PLS 13856”; Thence South 89°43’48” West, a distance of 429.99 feet to a rebar with a plastic cap found; Thence North 00°16’06” West, a distance of 165.08 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.63 acres of land, more or less. SECTION II: That a new zoning map showing these amendments shall be certified to and declared to be the official zoning map of the City of Rexburg by passage of this Ordinance by the City Council of the City of Rexburg. SECTION III: This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication.
