I arrived at the concrete pour at approximately 11:30AM and began my observations. I observed that the
forums were correct as well as that the contractor double checked everything before the pour. The first
truck arrived late at approximately 12:30 PM. I got my first sample from that truck and began my testing. It
failed with 1 percent air. I then notified the contractor and the truck driver, which then the truck driver added
some air and continued with the pour. I then tested the second truck and it failed as well with 3 percent air,
but after adding air, it was brought up to a passing level. I then finished my testings and watched the rest of
the pour proceed. I observed that the contractor was within conformance to project documents during his
pour.
After the pour at approximately 2:00 PM I headed over to building 7 to begin my epoxy inspection. I
observed that the epoxy had not yet expired and was still in good condition. I also observed the contractor
clean out the holes, which I then doubled checked before they proceeded. I observed the rest of their work
and confirmed that they were within conformance to the project documents.
