NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE ZONING
MAPFOR THE CITY OF REXBURG
Public Hearing: September 3, 2020 at 6:40 P.M. to be held before the Rexburg Planning and
Zoning Commission of the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho (#20 00602) to rezone
approximately 264 & 280 East Main St, Professional Plaza St, and Grand Loop from Low Density
Residential 2 (LDR2), Residential Business District (RBD), and Technology and Office Zone (TOZ)
to Community Business Center (CBC) in the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho.
Legal Description:
264 East Main St: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 4, Block 1, of the Rigby addition
to the City of Rexburg, as per the recorded plat thereof, and running thence south 9.5 rods; thence
east 5 rods; thence north 9.5 rods; thence west 5 rods, to the point of beginning.
280 East Main St: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 4, Block 1, of the Rigby Addition
to the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, as per the recorded plat thereof, and running thence
west 5 rods; thence south 10 rods, thence east 5 rods; thence north 10 rods to the point of
beginning.
Professional Plaza St: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 3, Block 1, Rigby Addition to the
beginning.
Grand Loop: Beginning at a point that is S00°16' 16"E 659.48 feet along the east section line and
S89°48' 10"W 910.10 feet from the east quarter corner of Section 25, Township 6 North, Range
39 East of the Boise Meridian, Madison County, Idaho; running thence S89'48'1 0"W 409.73 feet
along the north line of lots 2 and 3, Block 3 of the Westates Subdivision No. 1 to the east line of
lot 4, Block 3 of the said Westates Subdivision Division 1; thence along said line to the center
section line of Section 25 N00°16'05"W 659.70 feet; thence along said section line N89°48'44"E
723.95 feet; thence S00°16'05"E 180.97 feet to the north line of Trejo Professional Park Division
No. 1; thence along said line S89°32'54"W 314.23; thence S00°16'05"E 477.21 feet to the Point
of Beginning, containing 7.515 acres.
At such hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to such proposed permits. The City Clerk will also accept written
comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on September 2, 2020. This notice is given pursuant to the
provisions of Section 67-6508, 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof.
