NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO AMEND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLANMAPAND THE ZONING MAP
FOR THE CITY OF REXBURG
Public Hearing: September 3, 2020 at 6:35 P.M. to be held before the Rexburg Planning and
Zoning Commission of the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, to consider (#20 00601)
amending the Comprehensive Plan Map from Low to Moderate Density Residential to
Neighborhood Commercial/Mixed Use at approximately 264 & 280 East Main St in the City of
Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho.
Legal Description:
264 East Main St: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 4, Block 1, of the Rigby addition
to the City of Rexburg, as per the recorded plat thereof, and running thence south 9.5 rods; thence
east 5 rods; thence north 9.5 rods; thence west 5 rods, to the point of beginning.
280 East Main St: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 4, Block 1, of the Rigby Addition
to the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, as per the recorded plat thereof, and running thence
west 5 rods; thence south 10 rods, thence east 5 rods; thence north 10 rods to the point of
beginning.
At such hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to such proposed permits. The City Clerk will also accept written

comments via email at deborah.lovejoy@rexburg.org or at City Hall, 35 North 1 East, Rexburg,
Idaho prior to 4:00 p.m. on September 2, 2020. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of
Section 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof.
