I would like to email the city council to show support for a mask mandate in the city of Rexburg. Masks can help reduce the spread of COVID 19. As cases in our state and in our county
rise, I would like to protect both the people and businesses of our city. I think that wearing masks can help us keep our numbers lower and allow businesses to stay open. I also have
elderly parents who live here. I would like them to be protected. I wish a mandate was not necessary, but my experience is that many people refuse to make the choice to wear a mask
while unable to social distance. I hope a mandate would increase the number of people wearing masks indoors when we are unable to social distance.
