I arrived on site at approximately 11:00 AM. I observed that the contractor had prepared the bolts and bolt
holes previously, including cleaning out the holes. I observed that the epoxy was not expired. I observed
the contractor fill the holes with epoxy and then insert the metal rods. The holes had enough epoxy that a
little bit came out of the holes each time. I also found 5 holes that were not clean enough and instructed the
contractor to clean them out more thoroughly. I again inspected the holes to ensure that the proper
cleanliness had been achieved. I observed the placement of approximately 20 holes. I observed the
contractor was in general conformance to project documents.
