Summerfield Clubhouse/Park Irrigation Specifications
Controller:
The irrigation system for the Summerfield Clubhouse/ Park area to include water saving measures,
components, and controls to minimize water usage utilizing the following:
Hunter Hydrawise commercial grade controller w/ two wire system. Controller to link to local weather
stations to adjust watering automatically as needed. HCC controller will be programmed to suspend or
delay watering in events consisting of rainfall, cooler temperatures, and high wind. The system will be
monitored with a Hunter flow meter located at the POC which will alert and suspend watering due to
line breaks or water usage outside of the normally programmed parameters.
Drip:
All drip components to be used in planter beds and around foundations. All drip emitters to be pressure
compensating. No spray heads will be used around building foundations or structures.
Heads:
All irrigation heads will be adjusted and installed to manufacturer specifications. No irrigation heads will
be overshooting any pedestrian walk ways or pavement. In mow strips side strip nozzles will be used
throughout to reduce overwatering of walks and street sides.
POC:
The point of connection for the project has been sized appropriately to allow full watering’s of the
property at night and early am. Once the turf and plants are established no day time watering’s will be
needed or required.
