IN THE EVENT OF CONFLICT THE ENGINEER SHALL BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY SO CLARIFICATION MAY BE MADE PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION. 3.ELEVATIONS SHOWN ARE 2004 CITY DATUM AND ALL ELEVATIONS AND ARE TO FINISHED SURFACE OR PIPE INVERT UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 4.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE REQUIRED TRAFFIC CONTROL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LATEST EDITION OF THE MANUAL ON UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES (MUTCD). 5.GENERAL LOCATIONS AND SIZES OF UTILITIES ARE SHOWN ON THE PLANS. THEY ARE TO BE USED FOR GENERAL INFORMATION ONLY. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO NOTIFY THE APPROPRIATE UTILITY COMPANIES WHEN CONSTRUCTION MIGHT INTERFERE WITH NORMAL OPERATION OF ANY UTILITIES. IT SHALL ALSO BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE APPROPRIATE UTILITY COMPANY FIELD LOCATE ANY UTILITY INSTALLATIONS WHICH MIGHT BE AFFECTED BY CONSTRUCTION PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK IN THAT AREA. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING SERVICE OF EXISTING UTILITIES AND FOR RESTORING ANY UTILITIES DAMAGED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE OWNER. 6.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING SOURCES FOR GRANULAR MATERIAL, DISPOSAL SITES, AND ANY ADDITIONAL MATERIALS THAT MAY BE NECESSARY FOR PROPER CONSTRUCTION OF THIS PROJECT. 7.IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR WATER REQUIRED FOR TESTING, COMPACTION AND DUST CONTROL MEASURES. 8.A CITY OF REXBURG PUBLIC WORKS LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR ANY/ALL CONTRACTORS WORKING WITHIN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY OR EASEMENT. 9.APPROVAL OF THE CITY ENGINEER IS REQUIRED FOR ANY PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION WITHIN A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY OR EASEMENT. 10.ALL CONSTRUCTION INCLUDING CONCRETE/ASPHALT PLACED WITHIN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY REQUIRES INSPECTION AND APPROVAL OF THE CITY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT. THE DEPARTMENT SHALL BE NOTIFIED AT LEAST FOUR (4) HOURS PRIOR TO PLACEMENT (359-3020). 11.A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY USE PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR ANY WORK WITHIN ANY PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY OR EASEMENT. THE CITY OF REXBURG ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT SHALL BE NOTIFIED AT LEAST TWO (2) DAYS PRIOR TO ANY EXCAVATION UNDER THIS PERMIT (359-3020). 12.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RETAIN AND PROTECT OR REMOVE AND REPLACE ALL LANDSCAPING, TREES, UTILITIES, DITCHES, CULVERTS, FENCES, MAILBOXES, SIGNS, LIGHT POLES, HEAD GATES, AND ALL OTHER MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS AS CALLED FOR IN THE PLANS. ANY DAMAGE DONE BY THE CONTRACTOR TO EXISTING STRUCTURES TO REMAIN SHALL BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED AT CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. 13.CONTRACTOR TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FILING THE OFFICIAL SWPP PLAN AND NOI IN ACCORDANCE WITH EPA STANDARDS AND MAINTAINING THESE STANDARDS INCLUDING STORM WATER POLLUTION AND DUST CONTROL PER THE STATE OF IDAHO CATALOG FOR BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES (BMP'S). 14.SITE ADDRESS: ,REXBURG, IDAHO (CITY OF REXBURG TO PROVIDE). CONSTRUCT WATER SERVICE CONNECTIONS PER APPLICABLE ISPWC STANDARD DETAIL SD-401 AND SD-402 INCLUDING METER BOX, PIPING AND ALL FITTINGS. 5.WATER MAIN VALVES SHALL BE RESILIENT WEDGE GATE VALVES FOR 10” AND SMALLER PIPES AND BUTTERFLY VALVES FOR LARGER DIAMETER PIPES RATED AT 250 PSI OR GREATER. 6.MINIMUM COVER OVER ALL WATER LINES SHALL BE 6 FEET. 7.THRUST BLOCKS SHALL BE PLACED AT ALL DIRECTION CHANGES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ALL TEES, CROSSES, BENDS, AND END OF LINES. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY CAPS AND THRUST BLOCKS AT ALL TEMPORARY WATERLINE TERMINATION POINTS AS REQUIRED DUE TO PHASED DEVELOPMENT. 8.FIRE HYDRANTS SHALL BE WATEROUS WB 67-250, PAINTED RED, INSTALLED WITH A 5” STORZ FITTING AND CAP. HYDRANTS SHALL HAVE TWO 2-1/2 INCH DIAMETER HOSE NOZZLES AND ONE 4-1//2 INCH DIAMETER HOSE NOZZLE. 9.COORDINATE ALL WATER METER INSTALLATIONS WITH THE CITY OF REXBURG. WATER METERS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY OF REXBURG (BY OTHERS). 10.COORDINATE LOCATION OF WATER METERS FOR LANDSCAPING/SPRINKLER SYSTEMS WITH OWNER'S IRRIGATION PLAN. 11.HOT TAP CONNECTIONS SHALL BE PER CITY OF REXBURG STANDARDS. 12.BED PIPE IN NATIVE MATERIAL FREE OF ROCKS LARGER THAN 1 INCH IN DIAMETER AS BEDDING. IF ROCKS LARGER THAN 1 INCH ARE PRESENT, USE CRUSHED AGGREGATE OR SAND AS APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER. 13.EXTEND WATERLINES 5 FEET OUTSIDE OF PHASING LIMITS. PLACE TEMPORARY BLIND FLANGE AND THRUST RESTRAINT AT TEMPORARY END. IF MECHANICAL THRUST RESTRAINTS ARE USED (SUCH AS EBAA IRON MEGALUGS) RESTRAIN 3 PIPE BELL JOINTS FROM THE TEMPORARY END. MARK ALL END LOCATIONS WITH A POST. 14.WATER PIPE SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM HORIZONTAL SEPARATION DISTANCE OF 10 FEET AND VERTICAL DISTANCE OF 18 INCHES FROM ALL SANITARY/STORM SEWERS MEASURED FROM THE EDGE OF EACH PIPE IN ACCORDANCE WITH IDAPA 58.01.08 AND AS OUTLINED IN THE CURRENT EDITION OF THE ISPWC STANDARD DRAWING SD-407. 15.COMPLY STRICTLY TO MANUFACTURER INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS IN ALL CONSTRUCTION AND IN REGARDS WITH PULLED JOINTS AND DEFLECTION TOLERANCES. USE STANDARD ELBOWS, WHEREVER POSSIBLE, IN LIEU OF PULLING JOINTS EVEN IF THE JOINT PULLS ARE WITHIN MANUFACTURER INSTALLATION TOLERANCES. 16.ALL WATER PIPE SHALL INCLUDE ALL APPURTENANCES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TEES, CROSSES, VALVES, ELBOWS, ETC.… 17.TEST, FLUSH, AND DISINFECT CONSTRUCTED PIPE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CURRENT EDITION OF ISPWC SECTIONS 401.3.6 AND 401.3.9. 1.ALL CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE PER THE CURRENT CITY OF REXBURG STANDARD DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND/OR CURRENT EDITION OF THE ISPWC IF APPLICABLE. 2.ALL SANITARY SEWER MAIN LINE PIPING SHALL BE PVC SDR 35 IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM D-3034. 3.ALL STORM SEWER MAIN LINE PIPING SHALL BE ADS N-12 WT IB PIPE MEETING AASHTO M252, AASHTO M294 TYPE S AND ASTM F2306 WITH SMOOTH INTERIOR AND ANNULAR EXTERIOR CORRUGATIONS (OR EQUAL UPON APPROVAL OF ENGINEER). 4.ALL SEWER SERVICE LINES SHALL BE 4 INCH PVC SDR 35 AND SHALL EXTEND 15 FEET INTO THE PROPERTY (EASEMENT LINE) AND MARKED WITH A 2X4 POST. SERVICE LINE CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE ISPWC STANDARD DRAWING SD-511, SD-511A, SD-511B AND SD-512. 5.MANHOLES SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY OF REXBURG STANDARDS AND ISPWC STANDARD DRAWING SD-501. 6.PIPE BEDDING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ISPWC STANDARD DRAWING SD-301 AND SD-302. 7.GRADE, SLOPE, AND FINISH SURFACES AWAY FROM MANHOLE LIDS. 8.DO NOT ALLOW MORE THAN 12 INCHES OF GRADE RINGS ON MANHOLES BEING RAISED TO FINAL GRADE. 9.TEST GRAVITY SEWER PIPE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ISPWC SECTION 501.3.4.
