This is a professional award that is given to Construction (Building) Inspectors that work well with developers, contractors, and the public. Larry is definitely well deserving of this award! Larry has done a remarkable job for not only the City of Rexburg, but also for Madison County. Larry has worked for the City for about 3 years and has really picked up the Building Inspector role very quickly and effectively. Larry truly cares for others and its’ felt through His interaction with anyone that comes in the office. Larry is very easy to get along with. The City was asked to help with Madison County Building Inspections and Permits in their Building Department due to some personnel changes. Within one week of being asked to take over all operations of the County Building Department, Larry was asked to add all County residential building inspections to His already busy schedule. He took it on with a smile and sincere dedication! Larry is a great asset to the City of Rexburg, developers, contractors, and homeowners! He is easy to get along with and yet can tell anyone tough news and have them accept it with a smile. Larry has made a life-long commitment to the building construction industry as He was previously a General Contractor building custom single-family residences and some light commercial buildings. He has over 40 years of experience in the building industry and continues to learn as a student of the industry. Larry has attended many building inspection trainings and has become an ICC certified Residential Building Inspector. He is interested in becoming better in all aspects of His position in the City of Rexburg. He continues to work hard each and every day! Larry has recently been training the new Building Inspector for Madison County for the last couple of months and continues to be a mentor to everyone. The City of Rexburg Building Department is pleased to have Him work with us! Please let me know your thoughts of this. This could be the one we could put in the newspaper?
