Called back but mailbox not setup. 1/13/2020, Terry indicated landscape was not restored and sod was needed. 1/7/19: The drain in the gutter is not functional. It will be repaired with the LID 48 work. The apron does not need replacement per owner. City engineer ressassed and original assessment stands. Between the first assessment and now sidewalk was cracked by neighbor's contractor. This will increase cost of estimated work. 1/8/20 There was a cut in the curb before the work was done that allowed access to a shed in the back. The curb was raised preventing easy assess. Mrs Mitchell came to City Hall requesting the curb change back to the original cut. Brett will work with Shane at Edstrom to fix the issue. She was advised that the work may not start until the spring. 5/14/19 Meet Bill on site and found that 20 LF of curb will need to be paid for by the City b/c Water Dept. error. All other quantities okay. He is looking into doing his own sidewalk work. Kristy says that she was not notified; our records show it was mailed 12/26/18. A formal complete was receive 1/8/20 found in LID folder. East driveway is under warrentee and will be replaced and landscape restored. Rental William doesn't want to be on LID. Mailed notice to tax address, utility address, and hand delivered. Durring construction, irrigation pipes were uncovered, pipes froze, and burst. Send notifications to this email address billfrye_2000@yahoo.com. 1/7/20 The Notice of Hearing on Assessment Roll returned not deliverable as addressed. Bill called two week earily requesting mail sent to 270 W 2nd N. The notice was emailed to Bill. 1/8/20 Scott Miller attempted to deliver the notice to the address but the renter said he doesn't live there and he isn't the landlord. 1/3/18 Scott: Curb and gutter do not need replacing. Concern was forwarded to Joel, he will reassess property in the spring time. Concrete apron needed to be removed to widen driveway. Scott wanted to pour his own approach however the concrete sub poured this without authorization. Scott will only be charged materails for this apron. $318 for three yards concrete + truck delivery fee $100 + short load fee $100. Gravel not charged for prep. Extra curb charged for new approach and sewer service. 1/13/19 Scott indicated that the sidewalk next to sewer reconnection began to settle. It will be replaced in the spring. 1/3/19 Brian: He doesn't agree with the accessment. City engineer ressassed and original assessment stands. Date Reported Notes 07/2019 The City was replacing the water line in the street. The property owner's water pipe was brittle and in the process of replacing the city water line the property owner's water line began to leak. The property owner hired its own contractor to replace its water line. The City give $1,000 to help with the replacement of the water line. Sidewalk construction was complete in 09/2019. Steve Oakie Called me and wanted to have his contractor pour the concrete I spoke with Edstrom and directed them not to pour. However that did not get back to Depatco and the sidewalk was poured so we will honor the $2000 price that he was going to be charged. Dennis and Peggy Dye came to City Hall requesting to increase the driveway approach with the understanding the LID estimate will increase. They changed their mind and did their own approach and sidewalk. Rozan Goulding is the executor for the estate. She would like the property reassessed. There is a tree between the curb and the sidewalk that is raising the concrete. City engineer ressassed and original assessment stands. Per Rozan, "Landscape by the sidewalks was not restored. The replaced curb is cracked." 1/17/18 John Ferguson; He requested notices sent to him and Bank of Commerce. Engineer reassessed and decreased sizewalk work. 6/26/19 Mrs. Christenson stopped by the office. Her service goes out to 3rd East not 2nd N so we will need to remove the sewer stub out cost Ryan would like the property reassessed in the spring. City engineer ressassed and original assessment stands. They would like to save tree between approaches. Can sidewalk go behind or in front for that section? The tree was saved. There is a 2' x 4' patch of grass that was removed between the sidewalk and the grass and it was not replaced. Date Reported Notes Curb & Gutter Section was removed for ADA slope but was on homeowner portion. Quantity was deducted for ADA. The curb and gutter was replace with LID 35. Will a greater credit be issued? The work completed with LID 48 covers a different section of work completed with LID 35. No additional credit is given. A section of sidewalk and C&G was left in place rather than damage surrounding pieces. Angela Dresen requested more information 4/12/19 & 7/2/19. Parker would like a storm drain in front of his house. 40k change order was added putting in 4 stormdrains. 6% grade sidewalk was missed and correction will be added to the assessment. Spoke with Stephen about removing sidewalk thru driveway because of cross slope issue. Homeowner elected to do their own work on the sidewalk. 12/11/19 James called and requested further mail go to his Utah address. 8x5 of sidewalk was not replace, cost was reduced accordingly. Date Reported Notes Property estimated to closing Febuary 2019 Ken came to city hall indicating no letter was received. It was confirmed a letter was sent out 12/26/18. A copy was reprinted for him. 1/3/19: Daniel and Lindsay called. They would like to reevaluated the assessment in the spring. City engineer ressassed and original assessment stands. 6/11/19 Assessment was requested. 64’ of linear feet, measured by Jay, of sidewalk, curb, and gutter were removed. Only 28’ of linear feet of curb and gutter was listed on the property plan for removal. Extra was added for sewer service. Only 38' was charged. Per Amy, owners took care of driveway and sidewalk. 13 LF added for sewer service 1/6/20 Emily Miller request to have future mail since to the physical address. Notice of Roll Assessment didn't include sidewalk work. Debra came in and informed us and her cost was adjusted accordingly. Gordon asked to have some additional work done. The concrete was made 6" thick reinforced and extra driveway was taken out. Ms. Pack: sprinkler next to sidewalk was broken and drainage pipe in driveway was cracked by contractor. Repairs to sprinkler and drainage pipe were made. At first public hearing Van requested further notification mailed to physical address not tax address. Want to do his own sidewalk. Visisted with him on 4/16/19 Homeowner wanted to replace driveway and sidewalk in front of house. Notes Mark request to be added to LID 48, price provided before work was began; trees were removed $3500; 8" water stub out was added for RV storage project $8000; total expense $11500. 1/28/19 Leslie requested sidewalk repair added to LID. A filled out waiver was received. Hepworths requested work added to LID 48. See customer 5565 in AP for details of work. The water department installed concrete poorly. Curb, gutter, and 4 feet of drive way will be replace at the expense of the Water Department. The additional 4 feet of driveway will be replaced at owner's expense. I spoke with Susan and Stephen about having the work done by the water department replaced. Homeowner paid for 9x24 of their driveway. Edstrom has the contract with the LID work, Depacto is the subcontracter; Depacto has not been good at provided a time frame in which the work will take place. A message was left with Brett for assistance.
