RE: Proposed Zoning Change
Dear Sir/Madam:
I would like to voice my opposition to the proposed zoning change on property located at
342 S 4'h E, Rexburg, ID. I would like to see low density residential property in Rexburg
kept that way.
Many people would like to open up their homes with apartments for college students but
in allowing them to do this means having cars parked up and down our streets. Cars
parked on front lawns. Front lawns turning into cement slabs in an attempt to get enough
off street parking. I have also noticed in residential areas where the added traffic poses a
danger to the residents and children who are living and playing in the area.
At sometime and at some point the city must draw a line in the sand or every home in our
town will have an apartment in it.
For the above reasons, it is my recommendation that this request be denied.
