This analysis was commissioned by Verizon. The purpose of the analysis is to determine the acceptability of the tower stress level. Based on our analysis we have determined the tower stress level for the structure, under the following load case, to be: Existing + Proposed Equipment for all applicants Sufficient Capacity Note: See Table I and Table II for the proposed and existing loading, respectively. This analysis has been performed in accordance with the 2015 International Building code with Idaho amendments based upon an ultimate 3-second gust wind speed of 115 mph converted to a nominal 3- second gust wind speed of 90 mph per section 1609.3.1 as required for use in the TIA-222-G Standard per Exception #5 of Section 1609.1.1. Exposure Category C, Topographic Category 1, and Risk Category II were used in this analysis. Per TIA-222-G Section 2.7.3, seismic effects may be ignored for this site due to the earthquake spectral response acceleration at short periods (SS) being less than or equal to 1.0. Site specific ground motion parameters were obtained from USGS earthquake hazard maps using soil site class D, and are attached to this report. Selected output from the analysis is included in Appendix A. 3.2) Assumptions 1) The tower and structures were built in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and applicable ANSI/TIA/EIA standards. 2) The tower and foundation have been proper maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. 3) The configuration of the antennas, cables, mounts, and other appurtenances are based on information provided the client, and previous tower analysis & construction documents referenced herein. 4) The foundation was properly designed and constructed for the original design loads. 5) Material Properties: - Monopole steel: A572-65 (Fy = 65 ksi) - Structural bolts: A615 Grade 75 - Base Plate: A572-50 (Fy = 50 ksi) This analysis may be affected if any assumptions are not valid or have been made in error.
