NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on January 2, 2020 at 6:40 pm a Public Hearing will be
held before the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, at City Hall located
at 35 North 1st East, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding a Conditional Use Permit (#19 00719) to allow
reduced front yard setbacks and reduced parking in the Pedestrian Emphasis District (PED) and
Dormitory, per the Rexburg Development Code as a Conditional Use. The current zoning for the
properties is High Density Residential 1 (HDR1). The said parcels are located at 431 South 2nd West
in Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows:
Legal Description:
Parcel 1:
A portion of Lot 6, Block 13 of the Parker Addition to the City of Rexburg, Madison County,
Idaho, as shown on the recorded plat thereof further described as:
A parcel of land in Madison County, State of Idaho, Township 6 North, Range 40 East of the Boise
Meridian, Section 30, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 6, Block 13 of the Parker Addition to the City of
Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho as per the recorded plat thereof; thence S.00°15'02" E
(Record=South) along the West line of said Lot 6 for a distance of 66 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence N.89°44'58"E. (Record=East) for a distance of 108.00 feet; thence S.00°15'02"E.
(Record=South) for a distance of 16.50 feet; thence S.89°44'58"W., (Record=West) for a distance of
108.00 feet to the West line of said Lot 6; thence N.00° 15'02" W. (Record=North) for a distance of
16.50 feet to the true point of beginning.
Parcel 2:
The West 108 feet of the South 10 feet of Lot 3, and the West 108 feet of the North 66 feet of Lot
6, Block 13, of Parker Addition, to the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, as per the recorded
plat thereof.
At such hearing the Planning & Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to such proposed permit. The City Clerk will also accept written
comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on December 31, 2019.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all
amendments thereof.
