Supply vent above grid (west of server room)? Penetrations still not protected in
rated ceilings.

Approved to install ceiling tiles for lighting seismic wiring, must leave open tiles
that have junction boxes above them. Above ceilings is considered a plenum
because return air registers are not ducted, they are going to duct them as per
DAFAB, if they don't the cabling must be plenum rated. Will inspect above the
ceiling tiles on the final inspection.

Approved for a final and C.O.-24 hour 5 minute test-12:58PM 11/20 AC
loss-11/21/13 AC restored at 1:05 PM, witnessed all notification and initiating
device operation, fire department was called-verified the monitoring, HVAC units
are 1500 CFM as per Mike with DAFAB construction, report in file-emailed, plan is
above fire alarm panel for fire department.

Ducts penetrating ceilings to be rated per plan do not have fire dampers (No fire
separation required by code). HVAC approved with this exception, but will need
reinspection if 1 hr separation to be approved.
