4th floor: Framing scheduled for same day as insulation inspection (?). Framing
1st then insulation. All framing appears to meet code (despite insulation). Found
Exhaust fans have unprotected plastic connector exposed making fire rating
incomplete. This issue was addressed in plan review, and all such fans will
require a fire damper. Tape joints where they occur in rated walls behind tubs.
4th floor "Framing" approved with noted conditions.

Building (handrails & guardrails incomplete, reinspect 4th & 3rd floor corridor
penetrations, Fire collar at roof drain ceiling penetrations, cannot have balcony
doors locked from outside only, common area "wet bar?" fire rate drain through
rated wall (also on 2nd level bathroom by study rooms), add exit signs for SE
stair enclosure at top 3 floors, west and north end exit sign on level 3 not
illuminated, seal oversized holes at wall heaters, exit discharge not complete out
North and west exits, Fire rate beam at second floor common area.

beam must have 1 hr fire rated protection (both sides), Bathroom in hall (Fire
caulk West wall penetrations), 208 (fire caulk gas line at ceiling in mech. closet).
108 (fire caulk gas line at ceiling in mech closet), 101 (ONLY west bedrm and hall
smoke det are working, metal covers required on cleanout in kitchen), 102
(accessible unit not ready), 103 (big hole in mech. closet ceiling, 2 Smk det
covered w/ drywall), 104 (model unit not finaled yet for apartment use).
First floor does not have all outside air dampers installed as required (refer to
mech. insp)
