Greg,
Unfortunately, the fee summary that was provided to Steve Holloway initially was incorrect as it was missing the proper
amount for the building inspection portion. Had the project moved forward at that time, the error would have been
caught and fixed. Unfortunately, at this time, we still need to fix the error and I don’t see any way around what the total
fees should be.

Porter,
Thanks for looking into this, however this permit is only a year old. We have built our budget based on the $48k per
building. Can we reduce the impact fees per building permit? I’m having a hard time understanding why the permit
would jump so much in one year? Anything you can do to help us get this project out of the ground would be
appreciated.
Thank You

Some fees have gone up multiple times since the project was started back in 2015. Also, these fees don’t look complete.
The Building Permit fee says it is $24. As nice as that would be for a fee, it is not accurate. This probably accounts for the
largest difference. Unfortunately, I’ve done all I can do for lowering the fees by eliminating the plan review fees for each
permit after the first.
This fee summary came out of our software system before major “renovations” were done to the software in order to
calculate more accurate fees. I’m sorry there’s not more I can do.

Porter,
This is what we had in our budget for the permits. Why are the permits more money for Providence now? Is there
anything the city could do to help us out?
Thank You

Steve,
As far as I know, we have been waiting on Eagle Rock Engineering to get the plans finalized for the bridge, but have not
heard anything back yet.
I’ve attached the fee summary for one building. Multiply the total by seven for the foundations you want to start now.
Our policy is that the total fees are paid for each foundation you start.
Multiply the total from the summary by 16 and that will be the total left to be paid for the whole project. The storage
building has been paid in full already.

Hi Porter,
Have you been in contact with James Wyatt with NBW on the bridge? What is the status of the permits?
We are going forward with seven of the sixteen buildings in the winter. How much will it cost to pull foundation permits
on each of these. What is the cost of the permits for the entire project?

If you could get back to me as soon as possible as we are trying to put the foundation and infrastructure before the
weather worsens.
