Additional Notes:
Collateral loads should be uniformly distributed on primary and secondary members. The
recommended method of load attachment to a purlin's web or flange can be found on B-081465
Planograph. Use Planograph B-0181769 for truss purlins.
Wall panels NOT PROVIDED by BBNA must resist all seismic, wind pressure, and wind suction
loads as required by the specified building code. In addition, vertical loads from dead weight of
panels, BBNA framing weight, and weight from windows, louvers, equipment, etc. must be carried
by the wall panels to the foundation.
It is the responsibility of the Contractor and Architect/Project Engineer to coordinate compatibility
between BBNA products and the wall panels not furnished by BBNA.
The concrete curb wall is not supported by VP steel and it must be designed to carry wind load from
1/2 the purlin space from top of the curb to the first girt. VP is not responsible for structural integrity
of material by others.
Mezzanine framing is NBVP and does not attach to VP steel. No mezzanine loads, including
mezzanine bracing loads, are carried by VP steel. VP is not responsible for structural integrity of
material by others.
THE VP ENGINEER'S SEAL APPLIES ONLY TO THE
WORK PRODUCT OF VP AND DESIGN AND
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIED BY
VP. THE VP ENGINEER'S SEAL DOES NOT APPLY
TO THE PERFORMANCE OR DESIGN OF ANY
OTHER PRODUCT OR COMPONENT FURNISHED
BY VP EXCEPT TO ANY DESIGN OR
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIED BY
VP.
THIS DRAWING, INCLUDING THE INFORMATION HEREON, REMAINS THE PROPERTY OF VP BUILDINGS.
IT IS PROVIDED SOLELY FOR ERECTING THE BUILDING DESCRIBED IN THE APPLICABLE PURCHASE
ORDER AND MAY BE REPRODUCED ONLY FOR THAT PURPOSE. IT SHALL NOT BE MODIFIED,
REPRODUCED OR USED FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL OF VP

THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND/OR ERECTOR IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCURATE GOOD
QUALITY WORKMANSHIP IN ERECTING THIS BUILDING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS DRAWING,
DETAILS REFERENCED IN THIS DRAWING, ALL APPLICABLE VP BUILDINGS ERECTION GUIDES, AND
INDUSTRY STANDARDS PERTAINING TO PROPER ERECTION, INCLUDING THE CORRECT USE OF
TEMPORARY BRACING.
