2nd Floor inspection: side grab bar at HC toilets must extend from 12" to 54"
from back wall (grab bars also not done on 3rd floor). Fire rate penetrations into
shaft enclosures from restrooms, closets, etc. Door to balcony cannot be locked
from outside only. Fire caulk penetrations under kitchen sink in apartments.
Insulate behind fire ext. cabinet on balcony. Smoke detectors & fire alarms
missing in apartments. Need information on fireplaces (not on plans reviewed by
city). Combination Fire/Smoke dampers on "independent" HVAC systems for stair
enclosures or remove ductwork into stairs and patch wall on both sides for 2 hour
fire rating. Basement: Change and caulk pvc penetration through rated ceiling?
Exercise room, mechanical closets, and storage room (fix fire rated penetrations
& openings). Still missing 2nd layer of drywall in mech closet in group fitness
room. Basement not all ready for final inspection.

caulking penetrations in stair shafts (ceiling and walls).
2nd Floor inspection: Need information on fireplaces (not on plans reviewed by
city).
Basement: Exercise room, mechanical closets, and storage room (fix fire rated
penetrations & openings). Still missing 2nd layer of drywall in storage room under
north entrance lobby. Grab bars missing in accessible showers. Double doors to
East exercise room not approved (Egress requires at least one door to swing
each direction).
Elevator not yet operational. Main floor not inspected yet for final. West vent
shaft still has penetrations not rated. Where are address numbers located on
building?

through upper 2 floors. Will verify completion of fire rating when put in use for
food court tenants).
P&Z: Need parking signage for reserved commercial parking, which are scheduled
to be in on Monday.
Mechanical: Interior Gas Fireplaces added to 2nd floor not completed. Check with
Don for Final approval or a separate permit may be pulled instead.
