Removal of the Cross Connection Control Manual, published by the Pacific Northwest Section of the American Water Works Association, from IDAPA 07.02.04.012. All backflow requirements will be enforced according to the ISPC. Double check backflow assemblies (DCBA) will no longer be allowed in lawn sprinkler applications. A list of approved devices can be found in the ISPC, chapter 6, section 603.5.6. A copy of the ISPC can be found on the Division of Building Safety’s website at https://dbs.idaho.gov/programs/plumbing/. Any DCBAs installed prior to this code change will not need to be removed unless they can no longer be repaired and must be replaced.
