HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Annexation & Rezone to LDR1 - N Hill Road & Steiner June 5, 2019 signed & sealed NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ANNEXATION AND REZONE IN THE REXBURG IMPACT AREA IN THE CITY OF REXBURG Public Hearing: June 5, 2019 at 6:50 pm to be held before the Rexburg City Council, in the City Council Chambers of the City Building at 35 North 1st East, Rexburg, Idaho, to Annex properties in two (2) Locations in the Impact Area: Location 1 from 120 N Hill Rd to 790 Barney Dairy Rd in Rural Residential 1 (RR1) zone; Location 2 at approximately 829 South 5th West in Rural Residential 1 (RR1) zone into the City of Rexburg for file (#19 00169). The proposed zone change in Location 1, around North Hill Rd, will be to Low Density Residential 1 (LDR1) zone. Legal Descriptions: Location 1: North Hill Rd Commencing at the East quarter corner of Section 20, Township 06 North, Range 40 East, Boise Meridian, and running thence West along the center section line 1220.00 feet more or less to the intersection of the current Rexburg City Limit Line; thence South 678.00 feet more or less along the East boundary line of the Ricks-Palmer Subdivision, Division 4 and the current said City Limit Line to the Southeast corner of Lot 14, Block 6 of said subdivision; thence S82°30’15”E 67.70 feet to the east boundary line of said subdivision; thence S0°30’31”E 93.68 feet; thence S3°36’23”W 102.84; thence S7°54’53”W 105.90 feet being the Southeast corner of said subdivision; thence West 38.50 feet more or less to City Limit Line and parcels known as Mill Hollow Trailer Park; thence in a Southerly direction along said property and current City Limit Line 798.00 feet more or less to where the city limit line changes direction; thence East along City Limit Line 168.00 feet more or less; thence continuing along the City Limit Line North 9.00 feet more or less; thence East 155.00 feet more or less along City Limit Line to the Southeast corner of parcel known as RP06N40E209140; Thence in a Northerly direction 1849.00 feet more or less along the East boundary line of the following parcels RP06N40E209140, RP06N40E209044, RP06N40E207747, RP06N40E207796, RP06N40E207627, RP06N40E207534, RP06N40E207454, RP06N40E207378, RP06N40E207214, RP06N40E207242 to where it intersects with the Barney Dairy Road right of Way; thence East along City Limit Line and Barney Dairy Road right of way 632.00 feet more or less to the East section line of said section; thence North along said section 31.00 feet more or less to the point of beginning. Location 2: 829 South 5th West (Steiner Property) Commencing at a point 936.00 feet South of the Northwest corner of Section 31, Township 6 North, Range 40, East, Boise Meridian, and running thence East 658.11 feet to the East bank of the Rexburg Irrigation Canal; thence S06°28’50”W 118.65 feet along the East bank of the Canal; thence S57°01’39’W 242.82 feet, more or less, along the East bank of the Canal, to a point 1192 feet South and 434.00 feet East of the Northwest corner of Section 31; thence West 434.00 feet; and thence North 256.00 feet to the point of beginning. At such hearing the City Council will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to such proposed annexation. The City Clerk will also accept written comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on June 4, 2019. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67- 6508, 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof. DATED this 10th day of May, 2019.
