The work shall be carried out in accordance with the following supplemental instructions issued in accordance
with the Contract Documents without change in Contract Sum or Contract Time. Prior to proceeding in
accordance with these instructions, indicate your acceptance of these instructions for minor change to the Work as
consistent with the Contract Documents and return a copy to the Architect.
Reason for
Instruction: City comments and improved information
Description: Architectural:
‐Parcel square foot analysis
‐Modification to door panel type.
‐Modification to door fire rating.
‐Modification to window glazing.
‐Relocation of trash cans.
‐Resident room 128 is ADA compliant.
Electrical:
‐Power added for electrical heaters.
‐Exit signs added to door 101.
Mechanical:
‐Changed the exhaust fans to exhaust only.
‐Added the fire dampers to all exhaust fans and ceiling diffusers as required
‐by the city.
‐Added electric wall heaters in four of the bathrooms which are located on
exterior walls.
‐Removed all remote thermostats for PTAC units.
‐Changed Exhaust Fan Detail F/M301 to include fire damper.
‐Changed Exhaust Fan Schedule to reflect new fans with dampers.
‐Scheduled all electric heaters.

‐Full set of food services drawings and specification.

REVISIONSPublic Works has expressed a problem with the
distance needing to back up due to dumpster
location with no turnaround available. Verify
approval with Public Works.
The request for a parking stall at south end
used for turn around may provide solution for
dumpster pick-up. Public works will look into
this possibility.The turnaround space may need
to be a little wider than a parking space.
