HomeMy WebLinkAboutCollections SCADA Rev2 Proposal October 19, 2018 Justin Beard City of Rexburg Re: Collections SCADA System – Revisions Based on meeting held 3/26/19 Mr. Beard, SKM is pleased to provide this proposal to provide SCADA hardware and programming for the City of Rexburg wastewater collections system. The scope of this proposal was derived from information provided by the city and site visits on October 18th, 2018. Scope of Services 1. Task 1 – Communications System a. Provide Radwin radio hardware for a communications system based at the city water tower. This system would utilize the 4.9 GHz range. b. Commission radios at each location to determine exact locations of antennas/radios. 2. Task 2 – Lift Station Panels – This includes providing a PLC panel for each lift station to control two pumps and monitor wet well conditions as well as a generator if generator is present. Each panel will be integrated back to the main SCADA server. Each panel will be a NEMA 12 box rated for outdoor installation with the exception of the Main Lift Station. We are planning on providing panels at the following locations: a. Airport Lift Station b. Main Lift Station c. Summerfield Lift Station d. 12th West Lift Station e. 7th South Lift Station f. University Blvd Lift Station g. Yellowstone Lift Station h. Sunrise Lift Station i. Syringa Lift Station j. Valley River Lift Station k. East Moody Lift Station l. Larch Lift Station 3. Task 3 – Job Records and Bid Support a. Provide bid documents for electricians on the install b. Provide O&M manual for the system c. Provide record panel drawings 4. Task 4 – Storm Water Lift Station I/O Panel a. 7th South Stormwater Lift Station 5. Task 5 – Lift Station SCADA a. Site programming and set-up within Ignition 6. Task 6 - Intrinsic Barrier a. Provide an intrinsically safe junction box for the wastewater lift stations. The ones we visited had no intrinsic protection 7. Task 7 – Backup Floats a. Provide a level float for each wastewater lift station to function as a back-up 8. Task 8 –Recommended Spare Parts a. This would include the following spare parts. We recommend the following spare parts for the project. i. Spare base station radio ii. Spare remote iii. Spare PLC iv. Spare IO card of each type and power supply Responsibility of Others The following services will be provided by others: 1. Installation of the hardware on site. Hardware will be shipped to site to be installed by an electrical contractor. Cost Proposal Our fees for the above listed scope of services will be provided on a time and materials basis not to exceed the total fee shown below. Additional reimbursable expenses will be charged at cost plus 10% markup. This proposal will be valid for the next 60 days.
