our lives are made easier,
more comfortable, and
safer because of their ef-
forts on our behalf.
Terry Greenhalgh painted
our streets so that we
would know where to
walk, where to stop, and
where to park.
Thank you Terry!

We saw him working all
the time, even daily. We
would see him on week-
ends as well, toiling in
the hot sun for the peo-
ple of Rexburg. There
were times that I would
wave or even yell out a
hi. Most times he could-
n’t hear me, or even see
me, as his thoughts and
eyes were intent upon
the work at hand. Those
of us who knew him at
work probably would not
have recognized him in a
social situation. We always
saw him and knew him in
his work clothes, safety or-
ange, and paint spattered
shoes. He was under the
threat of danger every day,
working in the middle of
busy intersections, concen-
trating on the job at hand,
hoping that he would be
seen, trusting in the good
sense of those whom he
served.
We owe Terry Greenhalgh
and others like him, who
work for our safety, a debt
of gratitude. We may not
know them by name. We
