We often
criticize the media, but
their efforts on behalf
of Kenny are truly
what small town news-
papers can be, and do.

have shown us an ex-
ample of what we
should be doing.
There are a lot of peo-
ple that need help this
time of year, and we
can show gratitude for
our blessings by mak-
ing donations to those
whose circumstances
are less than desirable.
Currently there are drop
off cartons for non-
perishable food stuffs lo-
cated at Rexburg City
Hall. The United Way is
in need of help. Shop
with a cop is also gearing
up to help make Christ-
mas a fun time of year for
area children. Donations
can be made at the Rex-
burg Police Department.
Christmas in the Night-
time Sky will be this Sat-
urday from 5 PM until
late. There will be free
food and drink, but
please bring a gift
wrapped new toy as your
admission. This is a fun
event for all the family
with fireworks, and the
lighting of the Christmas

Turkey Trot
December 4, 2010
This is a 5K run with at least 50 racers plus their families.
The fun run will begin and end in Porter Park and wind
through Rexburg’s residential area. It will benefit the Shop
with a Cop program. We will have Venue Booths available.
