HomeMy WebLinkAboutNewsletter City_August 2011An update on Rexburg Rapids:
By the time you read this letter the
replacement section that modifies
the blue water slide will be in-
stalled. We are excited to have the
blue slide working, as it will double
the number of rides available.
We encourage you to take advantage
of the early morning exercise hours that Rexburg Rapids offers.
Opening at 6:00 a.m. the pool is open for a nominal fee. One great
activity is the Lazy River which provides a steady current in which
you can swim or run against. This is a great, low-impact exercise.
We hope that more people will come early. Our afternoon and eve-
ning attendance has exceeded expectations, but if we are unable to
increase our early morning attendance we will have to stop offering
it.
It is your facility. It is our facility.

WILL YOU BE SELECTED?
This September, 600 households will receive a survey from the Department of
Economic Development. If you’re selected, please take a moment to fill out your
responses and return the form with your utility bill. Your help will be greatly ap-
preciated.
The Department of Economic Development conducted its first economic survey
of the City of Rexburg last year. From it we gained valuable insight into consumer
habits and have already used the information in multiple economic development
projects. We hope to add to that knowledge each year and continue to grow busi-
ness in Rexburg.
If you are selected, we will include a pre-stamped envelope, which you are wel-
come to return both the survey and your utility bill in.
Thanks,
Department of Economic Development
