appreciate your willingness to utilize candle barricades and caution tape to discourage people from
going into and around the collapsed building. However, after visiting the site where this occured, we feel
it would be best to install a fence that would be a more inclusive barrier to discourage people from
entering the area around and in this building.
As part of this requirement, the City will give you 45 days starting today to get your insurance company
and any other parties involved moving forward with what needs to be done. At the end of the 45 day
period the building will become condemned if the building has not been addressed to bring it back into
compliance.
We would also be interested in the timeline you plan to have this building and the other buildings done
so there are not more issues in the future. Please let me know the details of this in your response. We
would request a response immediately to confirm you received this message.
I called and left you a voicemail with the same details said above and will have Shauna attach this email
to the permit for building #16.
