Front of House
Cap the gas lines to remove pipes from floor
Remove 7’ wall in the back kitchen
Remove 8’ wall from the front of the store
Replace existing lighting with 8’ grids of track lighting in the front of house
Also includes two individual 8’ tracks (see floor plan, marked with red lines)
Connect plumbing for the hand sink in the front of house
Prep the floor for installation of tile throughout the store
Finishes in Front of House
Install new premium tile with tile base, 1/8th” grout lines up to the BOH transition point (marked with red line on floor plan)
Install Koraguard sheets, the top of which should be 39” from finished floor on walls
Install chair rails 41” from the finished floor to cap Koraguard,
Use Minwax honey 272 stain and Minwax semi-gloss clear polyurethane
Install new 6” x 6” quarry tile with quarry tile base, 3/8th” grout lines up to the FOH transition point (marked with red line on floor plan).
Fabricate new walls
First wall will extend an additional 14’ 6” from the existing wall that stretches to the front of the store from the bathroom
Second part of the wall will measure 2’ 11” in length and will begin 5’ 8” from the beginning of the wall closest to the front entrance and extend horizontally to the left of the store
(see floor plan)
Second wall will begin 32’ 4” from the front of the store and extend 8’ horizontally towards the right side of the store (see floor plan)
Third wall will begin 18’ from the front of the store and extend 4’ 4” from the left wall towards the right side of the store.
An additional 4’ 6”section should be connected to the above mentioned wall, and extend vertically towards the back of the store (see floor plan)
Install exposed conduit along the new horizontal section of the wall to power the beverage cooler
Install new front counter with electric run 19’ 4” from the front door and attached to the new 4’ 6” wall as shown in the floor plan (see for distances)
Install reclaimed wood to the front of the counter cabinets
Stain and poly reclaimed wood with Minwax honey 272 and Minwax semi-gloss clear polyurethane
Install 4” rubber cove base around back side of front counter cabinet
Install quad outlet in each cabinet section, outlets and electric materials provided by Insomnia Cookies
Install a lowered counter section to the front that is 34” in height and stretches the full length of the front counter (6’). Use reclaimed wood supported by L-brackets.
Box out the angled section of the counter with 2’ x 4’s to support the weight, place an outlet inside to power the ice cream freezer
Install lobby tables (ask for specifications)
Install new hand sink along the left wall in the front of house (approximately 25’ from the front of the store
Sand, patch and paint all walls, bitter chocolate and fully purple with eggshell finish (Sherwin Williams paints, will designate walls on site)
Install any necessary transition strips from front of house to the back of house
Run electric to power the oven in the new back of house kitchen area (see floor plan for exact location)
Install outlets to power chest freezers, warmer and tech setup along wall in the new back of house kitchen area
Patch and paint all holes
Finishes in new Back of House
Place FRP on all of the new walls inside of the new back of house section as well as the existing kitchen walls
