ORDINANCE NO. 1172
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE
ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO, AND
PROVIDING THAT THE ZONED DESIGNATION OF THAT
CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED,
SITUATED 1N REXBURG, MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO, BE
CHANGED AS HEREINAFTER DESIGNATED; AND
PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY the City of Rexburg, Idaho
SECTION I: That the zoning map of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, which is filed
with the city clerk thereof, be, and the same is hereby amended and changed to provide
that the hereinafter described property situated in the City of Rexburg, Madison County,
State of Idaho, regarding 17 00324) to rezone the Ringel property at approximately 20 S
12th W. from Rural Residential One (RR1) to Medium -Density Residential 2 (MDR2) for
tract 2 and Low -Density Residential 2 (LDR2) for tract 3.
The said property is located at approximately 20 S. 12* W. in Rexburg, Madison County,
Idaho, and more particularly described as follows:
Leal Description,
Tract 2:
Beginning at the Northeast Comer of Section 26, Township 6 North, Range 39 East, Boise
Meridian, Madison County, Idaho, thence S 00°22'47" E 58.00 feet along the East section
be of Section 26, thence S 89°28'38" W 250.00 feet along highway 33 right of way to the
point of beginning, thence continuing West along the highway right of way 800.00 feet,
thence S00022'59" E 705.93 feet, thence N 89°00'42" E 800.00 feet, thence North 692.13
feet mote or less to the point of beginning.
Tract 3:
Beginning at the Northeast Comer of Section 26, Township 6 North, Range 39 East, Boise
Meridian, Madison County, Idaho, thence S 00°2247" E 58.00 feet along the East section
line of Section 26, thence S 89'28'38"W 1050.00 feet along highway 33 tight of way, to
the point of beginning, thence S00°22'59"E 705.93 feet, thence S 89°00'42"W 543.4 feet,
thence N 00°11'46" W 358.3 feet, thence N 89°38'14" E 10.00 feet, thence N 00009'23"
W 357.37 feet to highway 33 tight of way, thence East 530.79 feet more of less along
highway 33 Right of Way to point of beginning.
SECTION II: That a new zoning trap showing these amendments shall be
certified to and declared to be the official zoning map of the City of Rexburg by passage of
this Ordinance by the City Council of the City of Rexburg.
SECTION III: This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval
and publication.
