Rated doors and windows comply with Section 716 REVISIONSElevator equipment room shall be enclosed with the same fire rated assemblies as the elevator shaft - Door C103A should be 90 minute rated for a 2 hour rated wall. *Revisions Response : Exit Enclosures meet the requirements of IBC Section 1023 REVISIONSMechanical room cannot be accessed from within the exit stair enclosure (1023.4) *Revisions Response : Toilets, Bathing Fac., Sinks, Kit. and Drink. Emergency egress windows are required in all sleeping rooms. Fire sprinklers have not been an exception to this requirement since the 2009 IBC. The clear opening width shall be 20" minimum (opening area of 5.7 sf minimum). *Revisions Response : Exterior walls meet the requirements of IBC Section 705 REVISIONS(Same note as on building 1 review) Opposing walls of building 1 & 2 to be fire rated on interior and exterior where less than 10 feet apart. Only one needs be rated on interior and exterior where walls are 10 - 20 feet apart. Other walls only require fire rating for bearing walls as per construction type V-A.Please identify exterior wall types for fire rating. *Revisions Response : Exterior wall openings meet the requirements of IBC Section 705.8 (Same note as on building 1 review) Where FSD is 3 to less than 5 feet, 15% unprotected opening allowance only applies to building 1 because of the required NFPA 13 system. Building 2 requires at least 5 feet FSD to allow up to 10% unprotected openings with a 13R sprinkler system. COMPLETED Fire barriers meet the requirements of IBC Section 707 Wall between elevator/equipment room and the apartment is not identified. It shall be a 2 hour fire barrier (same as apartment and equipment separation wall in building 1) . COMPLETED Building complies with IECC (IBC 1301)No COMcheck found with application. Prescriptive requirements of the IECC shall be met. COMPLETED Elevators and Conveying Systems comply with Chapter 30 Elevator shall comply with chapter 30, including being able to accommodate a 24" x 84" ambulance stretcher.
