RESOLUTION FOR EXTENDING
THE STREET NAME STONE DR TO THE CONNECTING STREET
RIDGE VIEW DR IN SKY MEADOW SUBDIVISION
Resolution 2018 - 09
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of June, 2018, the City Council for the City of Rexburg was duly convened upon notice properly given and a quorum was duly noted; and
WHEREAS, the current property owner owning both adjacent parcels, Block 4 Lot 12 and Lot 13, on Stone Dr and the original platted street, Wind Song Dr, requested the west side of Wind
Song Dr, prior to intersecting to Ridge View Dr, name be changed to Stone Dr; and
WHEREAS, on the east side of the intersection between Ridge View Dr and Stone Dr the street name will remain Wind Song Dr; and
WHEREAS, City of Rexburg Staff, Madison County Dispatch and Emergency Services agree that the proposed name change will lessen addressing confusion at that location; and
WHEREAS, there are no existing structures in the effected parcels that will need to change their addresses;
NOW THEREFORE, by resolution duly adopted on the date first above written, be it resolved by the Mayor and the City Council the following:
The City of Rexburg does hereby change the name of Wind Song Dr on the west side of the intersection of Ridge View Dr to Stone Dr in the Sky Meadows Subdivision.
RESOLVED this 6th day of June, 2018; by the City Council, City of Rexburg, Idaho.
