ORDINANCE NO. 1192
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO, AND PROVIDING THAT THE ZONED DESIGNATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, SITUATED IN
REXBURG, MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO, BE CHANGED AS HEREINAFTER DESIGNATED; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY the City of Rexburg, Idaho:
SECTION I: That the zoning map of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, which is filed with the city clerk thereof, be, and the same is hereby amended and changed to provide that the hereinafter
described property situated in the City of Rexburg, Madison County, State of Idaho, regarding (#18 00291) to rezone the property at approximately the South end Addition to Rexburg at
the West Half of Block 7 from Medium Density Residential 1 (MDR1) and High Density Residential 1 (HDR1) to High Density Residential 2 (HDR2) in the City of Rexburg, Madison County,
Idaho.
The said property is located on the South end Addition to Rexburg at the West Half of Block 7 in Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows:
Legal Description:
BEGINNING at the NW comer of said Block 7, also being the NW corner of Lot 2;
Thence East along the South right-of-way line of 2nd South Street, a 99-foot wide public
street, a distance of 214.50 feet;
Thence along the following nine courses:
1. South a distance of 234.00 feet;
2. West a distance of 53.62 feet;
3. North a distance of 3.00 feet;
4. West a distance of 53.63 feet;
5. South a distance of 99.00 feet;
6. East a distance of 122.75 feet;
7. South a distance of 132.00 feet;
8. East a distance of 100.00 feet;
9. South a distance of 198.00 feet to the SE corner of said Lot 3, Block 7;
Thence West along the North right-of-way line of 3rd South Street, a 99 -foot wide public
street, a distance of 330.00 to the SW comer of said Lot 3;
Thence North along the East right-of-way line of 3rd West Street, a 99 -foot wide public
street, a distance of 660.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; Containing 152,028 square feet, or 3.49 acres, more or less.
SECTION II: That a new zoning map showing these amendments shall be certified to and declared to be the official zoning map of the City of Rexburg by passage of this Ordinance by the
City Council of the City of Rexburg.
SECTION III: This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication.
