A similar development is in progress on this some block and is adjacent to dozens of other similar developments. 3) What are the cumulative effects of this proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan? This proposal continues to advance the aoal of a "walking" campus. Furthermore this property is currently zoned high density. The proposed project will not dramatically Increase potential density, but does leave the option for small commercial/retail stores which will enhance the neighborhood for everyone. B. Please explain the reason(s) for this amendment proposal. This proposal provides student housing which fulfills the communities needs for more student housing. Allows multi use similar to adjacent developments. Allows for more efficient infill for the proposed properties.
