SHOP DRAWINGS, SAMPLES AND APPROVALS: 14. NO WORK REQUIRING SHOP DRAWINGS OR SAMPLES SHALL COMMENCE UNTIL THE ARCHITECT HAS REVIEWED THE SUBMISSION AND RESPONDED IN WRITING. SUCH WORK SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH REVIEWED SHOP DRAWINGS AND SAMPLES. FIRE REQUIREMENTS: 15. ADDRESS NUMBERS MUST BE POSTED ON THE BUILDING, CLEARLY VISIBLE FROM THE STREET AND BE AT LEAST 4" IN ACCORDANCE WITH IBC SECTION 501.2 (2015). BLOCKING: 16. PROVIDE ALL BLOCKING REQUIRED FOR ATTACHMENT OF ALL WALL HUNG ITEMS. (I.E. GRAB BARS, COUNTERS, ROOF LADDERS, ETC.) BLOCKING SHALL BE PRESSURE TREATED FIRE RESISTIVE IN RATED BUILDING AND WALL ASSEMBLIES, STANDARD NOMINAL LUMBER SIZES IN NON RATED ASSEMBLIES. EXIT SIGNAGE AND ILLUMINATION: 17. EXIT SIGNS SHALL BE INSTALLED WHEN THERE ARE TWO OR MORE EXITS REQUIRED FROM A ROOM OR STORY. THESE SIGNS SHALL BE PLACED AT EACH EXIT DOOR AND IN SUCH A MANNER AS TO CLEARLY MARK AND INDICATE THE EXIT PATH TO THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING PER IBC SECTION 1013 (2015). 18. THE MEANS OF EGRESS, INCLUDING THE EXIT DISCHARGE, SHALL BE ILLUMINATED AT ALL TIMES THE BUILDING SPACE SERVED BY THE MEANS OF EGRESS IS OCCUPIED PER IBC SECTION 1013.6.2 (2015). DOORS AND LANDINGS: 19. EXIT DOORS SHALL BE OPERABLE FROM INSIDE WITHOUT THE USE OF A KEY OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE OR EFFORT.
